My proposal is to make cartographic maps of felt of the changing microrelief of agricultural parcels in Assens. This micro-relief arisen through time and maintained in present day is created by farmer activities on land and can be seen as earth writings in the surface of the land, showing the connection between human and earth. Seen from this perspective, land can be considered as sustainable material since it is cultivated and used over and over again. Nowadays the sustainability of Danish agriculture is discussed and habitats and landscapes must be preserved for future generations. Making visible the connection of farmers with their land, the input of new stories can be necessary for the political debate of sustainable food production in the municipality of Assens. This proposed project with Danish farmers and their agricultural parcels will be an excellent continuation of my artistic research and can become part of earlier research in Sweden and the Netherlands
